How to prevent pain for having sex?

I'm about to have sex for the first time tonight. How do I prevent a uti and pain? Thanks.....

Don't expect pain, you might not have any. If you're ready for it and wanting it you won't be nervous, you'll be excited and relaxed and it won't hurt. It didn't hurt me, it hurt for less than a second when he first put it in, like someone pinched your arm kind of pain hardly anything. My boyfriend is slightly above average sized aswell. I didn't have any bleeding the first time and I loved it, and i've loved every time since.
